We've got to keep going...

So, Stacy and I (with BIG help from Cassandra and Steve) have pretty much finished cleaning the apartment. With the exception of mopping the bathroom, vacuuming and cleaning out the last of the previous owners junk, we are done! I got some sheets for my bed today from Stacy, I have a desk in my room and all I need is another lamp and a dresser and I'll be ready to move in! Seriously, this is one of the most exciting things ever! Seeing this old apartment coming together like it is, knowing that I have a place all my own! I remember a long time ago when Ashley and I thought we'd get an apartment together... that never happened, but I remember thinking about all the things I would do. Now, I have one and... it's just an amazing feeling!

So, now that we have an apartment, that means it's almost time for school!!! Tomorrow, the excess aid checks for $500 come in, which means I can FINALLY buy my books!! I swear, I'm more excited about buying those damn books than I am about actually starting classes. That's all I'm going to be doing tomorrow... reading. I only need three (so far) and two of them I don't even think I'll like all that much, but I'm excited about getting my astronomy book finally! I've never been more excited about a class in my life! Except for maybe band, but that's besides the point.

Other than all this, life is great! It was a beautiful day out today, so Steve and I had lunch over at Hiawatha, took a walk by the waterfalls and whatnot. Life has been kinda slow lately. Not in a bad way, just in a "I'm done with summer and need to be busy again" kinda way. I'm glad we're in the final stretch. I don't know how much more of this I could take!!

Anywho, Stacy and I have an early start tomorrow, so I'm going to jet! I love you all!! *hugs and kisses*

It is official. Stacy and I now have an apartment. We pay for our first months rent next week and move in as well! I have an apartment!! I'm on my own!! Thank you God for this chance to be on my own!! Eeeeeeeeeee!!
